Deo Futura Insemination Contract Terms and Conditions

1. SERVICE FEE

The total Service Fee is $2,500 +GST (AUD) per mare.
$1,000 +GST (AUD) is payable at the time of booking and is a non-refundable booking fee.
The balance of $1,500 +GST (AUD) is payable upon a positive 35 – 45-day positive
pregnancy test result.
One service certificate will be issued per service fee paid.
All collection costs, transport costs, and veterinary costs associated with the collection,
transport, and insemination of the mare are the sole responsibility of the mare owner/leesee.

2. LIVE FOAL GUARANTEE (LFG)

A Live Foal Guarantee is offered under the following terms:

A “live foal” is defined as a foal that stands and nurses unassisted for a minimum of 24
hours.
The LFG is only valid if Deo Futura is informed in writing within 7 days of the positive 45-
day pregnancy scan.
In the event of the mare not producing a live foal, a return service in the following breeding
season is offered at no additional service fee on condition that:
- The loss is not due to neglect, including but not limited to inadequate nutrition,
  improper veterinary care, or unsafe handling.
- A veterinary certificate is provided outlining the circumstances of pregnancy loss.
The LFG is void if:
- Deo Futura is not notified of the 35-45 day positive pregnancy result within 7 days
  of it being obtained.
- The loss of pregnancy or foal is due to negligence on the part of the mare owner or
  their agent.

3. EMBRYO TRANSFER / MULTIPLE PREGNANCIES

In the case of multiple pregnancies resulting from embryo transfer, an additional discounted service fee of $2,000 +GST per confirmed pregnancy will be payable.

4. BREEDING SEASON

The breeding season runs from 1 October to 31 March annually.

5. CONDITIONS

Service fees are non-refundable and not transferable to a third party.
Service fees are not transferable between mares.
Each service fee allows the mare owner to:
- Select from any Deo Futura stallion.
- Switch stallions mid-season, provided the mare owner notifies Deo Futura in writing.
- Up to five Pregnancy attempts per breeding season. However, if the mare does not conceive after the second attempt, a uterine swab must be taken and the report of the culture results provided before any further semen can be dispatched.

6. VETERINARY CONDITIONS & FREE RETURN

If a mare does not fall pregnant during the breeding season, a free return the following season is available only if:
- An alternate stallion from the Deo Futura lineup was also tried, and
- A second veterinary opinion regarding failed pregnancy has been obtained and provided to Deo Futura.
The mare will only be allowed to return for one subsequent season.

7. COLLECTION, SHIPPING AND LIABILITY

Collection fee:
- First Collection $200+GST
- Subsequent collections $375+GST
Transport fee:
- All chosen courier charges passed directly on to mare owner/lessee
- If a container is hired, the container must be returned at the expense of the mare owner. Hire fees will be refunded once the container is safely returned.
Deo Futura must be given at least 24 hours notice before semen is required. An additional collection fee of $200+GST will be added to the collection fee for requests within 24 hours.
Deo Futura is not liable for any loss, damage, or delay related to the transport of chilled semen once it leaves our facility.

9. ACCEPTANCE

By signing the Deo Futura Booking Form, the mare owner agrees to the terms outlined above and acknowledges the document sent by email following submission serves as a tax invoice for the $1,000 non-refundable booking fee.
